Registration Information
2007-2008 Season
* Registration will be held on Sunday, September 23rd from 2p-5p and on Sunday, October 7th from 2p-5p in the Walton High School Wrestling Room (back of school next to the stadium).

Getting Started
*Equipment you will need: wrestling shoes (required), head gear (required), knee pads (optional), t-shirts and shorts for practice, competition singlet (optional but recommended) for matches. Walton team singlets will be available for sale. Most equipment can be found for sale on the internet. Try www.wrestlingone.com or www.wrestlinggear.com.
*All wrestlers are required to join USA Wrestling. It is the governing body for Team Georgia Wrestling. You can join online at www.themat.com.
* Fees to join the Walton Junior Team is $125 for the year. (see registration form)
Practice Information
* The Elementary Team practices on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6p-7:30p. The first day of practice for the Elementary Team will be Tuesday October 23rd.
* The Middle School Team practices on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6p-8p and on Sunday afternoon from 2p-4p. The first day of practice for the Middle School Team will be Monday October 22nd.
* All practices will be held in the Walton High School Wrestling Room which is located in the back of Walton High School across from the football stadium.
2007-2008 Competition Schedule
*The first competition matches will be Saturday November 3rd, 2007 (an intra-squad meet held at Walton).
* There will be several " Beginners Tournaments" this year.
* The folkstyle wrestling season is from October 22nd 2007 to March 15th 2008.
* Wrestlers are grouped by age and weight for all competitions.
